Benning has stated that he is keeping Ryan Miller and is going to trade either Jacob Markstrom or Eddie Lack away. He doesn't feel comfortable having two inexperience goalies to back stop the canucks roster. Also Ryan Miller wouldn't not equate to Brent Burns. It is going to take a lot more to acquire Burns. He scored 17G 60pts as a defenseman this year. Kevin Bieksa and Kurt Overhardt have told Canucks management that they aren't willing to waive their NTC unless they resign him to a new deal. In reality if Vancouver want to get rid of Bieksa they'd have to wait another year until they his contract expires or buy him out. I do not see they canucks resigning him to just trade him away.
