I know the Habs need offence and the blues have been talking about potentially trading one of there forwards

What would it take for the Habs to get oshie?

American forward to put up numbers along side pactioretty

To be the prolonged goal scorer we need, what would it take?

Some prospects(Thomas, pateryn, hudon?)
Maybe buffalos 2nd next year and a guy like plekanec? Maybe more/less

I'd like to know, thoughts?

Well if the blues were willing to trade Oshie you would probably start with this years first round pick.

yea, those prospects, mid picks, and aging forwards won't get you oshie. nor would STL trade oshie for a downgrade and picks/proepscts as they want to win now. I know you're going to try to spin it and mention the cap, but oshie's deal is team friendly for what he provides, so don't start.

Don't think we really want Oshie. He's good an all. but would coat way to much. I think it's time Galchenyuk became the number one center. Coming into his fourth year. Can't babysit him anymore. He's got all the talent. sink or swim time. Remember. Price wasn't the MVP right away. at one time some were upset Halak was traded. Lol. Anyway. secondary scoring. that's what they need. Paccoiretty and Galchenyuk should pot 30 plus each. Gallagher and Pleks. 20 plus. Then who knows what your going to get. need a good first or second line 25 goal scorer. And no. It's not Paranteau. I hear Lupuls name. be happy to get 25 games. let alone 25 goals. So not a gpod fit . Belesky. Might be a good one?
