Jets should send E. Kane & P. Budaj to the tanking Maple Leafs for Kessel, fair trade for both sides

Evander Kane has had one season with 30 goals but has been very inconsistent and has had a lot of injuries for his young career not to mention his off the ice problems.

Kessel is one of the top 5 goal scorers in the nhl he has consistently 30 goals or more while playing in most games and does not have even close to as many character questions as Kane

they are no where near the same in value toronto says no easily.

Kane is a problem don't know the specifics but his own team mates won't even defend his sitting out

He has 22 points declining stats in recent years not worth the aggravation. The leafs have enough players who put themselves 1st
Need to rid themselves of such players not take on more . AND AND the bad contract no way Kane is worth that kind of money ala Kessel, Phaneuf, Lupul, Gardiner, and on and on

Kane answer's stacks of money like its a cell phone and is simply a coaches and team-mates nightmare. Kane, not Kessel is truly uncoachable.

Am I seriously siding with leafs fans for once? Wow. Is it a full moon?

Horrid trade for the leafs. Kane is good in spite of his attitude, but he doesn't warrant a trade like that. I think Kane will earn value along the lines of a top-6 scoring forward and an A-prospect. Possibly a bit more if he is traded in the off-season.
