Patrick Kaleta (Lindy liked the way Kaleta played), Jhonas Enroth or Michal Neuvirth & Andre Benoit to Dallas for 2015 2nd

Ottawa has Dallas' second round pick this year

This is not a good idea for Buffalo or Dallas. Why on earth would they move both goalies in one trade to a team that would only need one goalie, and also not getting a single goalie in return. Getting new goalies meanings giving up more assets like picks, which Buffalo has no intention of doing and the goalie market is somewhat weak.

Buffalo is requesting a 2nd round pick for Ehnroth alone. (Too much but whatever)

Kaleta would be on waivers (they don't need that kind of player), same with Benoit (They already have Oleksiak and others) , Lindback and Neuvirth.

Personally Dallas is overpaying, that second round pick may be pretty high, and in a deep draft they need that prospect, plus the only thing that would actually help them is one of those goalies considering all of the waived players following (losing assets). Buffalo won't do it because they trade both goalies and get none. Hackett isn't ready to start.

Just not a good trade on either side

Sorry I thought it said Neuvirth and Enroth.

So that rant was basically invalid.

Oops

@JF12 you are correct, I should have said 2016, Kaleta is decent PK forward, Benoit is playing well (just ask Ruff if he wishes he had a couple of NHL caliber defenseman in 2006). I think it is close, maybe for a 3rd then. Thanks for all of the feedback.
