njd: m. michalek
ott: 3rd round pick

nas: neil
ott: 5th round pick

min: hoffman, cowen, 3rd round pick
ott: j spurgeon

macarthur turris stone
puempel zbad ryan
prince pageau lazar
greening smith chiasson

karlsson methot
spurgeon weircoch
ceci borowiecki/ c wideman

if leafs don't sign b boyes then sens sign him on a 1 year deal to play fourth line instead of greening.

Easy no from NJ they have enough old guys they are not a playoff team.
No from NSH they have enough Bottom 6 guys
Values maybe there but no from both teams, Min doesn't need wingers and Spurgon is great but OTT doesn't really need him with Karlsson, Ceci, Weircoich

2.) 24 Sep 2015 19:07:27
Overpayment for the spurgeon trade. Others look okay

3.) 24 Sep 2015 20:57:14
That would stupid for NJ

4.) 29 Sep 2015 03:01:26
Sens add BIG time

Would never happen but imagine.

BUFF: Lehner, Cowen, 2nd Round Pick 2016
OTT: 21st overall

People will say Lehner isn't worth a first round pick and Cowen has no value but Tim Murray thought highly of Cowen and Lehner during his tenure in Ottawa and they still end up with a second round pick in next years draft. I think this is fair value.

ARI: 18th Overall, 42nd Overall, Lazar
OTT: 3rd Overall

(Arizona would get a solid Prospect in Lazar plus a decent prospect at 18th Overall (maybe take Samsonov) then a solid 2nd round pick

Trade 21st Overall to Chicago for Sharp

Draft Strome 3rd Overall

Ottawa would have Sharp to play with Zbad and Ryan and Strome would be our top prospect and a definite upgrade over Lazar (no disrespect to Lazar though)

No where near enough for #3. If Mantha and the 19th doesn't get you that pick then Lazar and the 18th doesn't either.

2.) 17 Jun 2015 18:29:19
All these trades are fair in value except the Arizona one I think Ottawa would need to add something else

EDM: Lehner, Lazar, Cowen, 3rd Round Pick (2016)
OTT: Hall

NJD: Michalek
OTT: 4th Round Pick

CBJ: Legwand
OTT: 5th Round Pick

NSH: Neil
OTT: 3rd Round Pick

Sign Codra: 2 year - 1.75 mill/year

Hall Zbad Ryan
Macarthur Turris Stone
Hoffman Pageau Condra
Prince Smith Chiasson

Draft a forward 18th Overall in the draft to replace Lazar in our prospect pool

Love Lazar but if B Murray is going after top 6 LW then Hall fits that bill

SensSansSpezza

1.) 15 Jun 2015 14:36:56
Not even close for Hall. Even if the pic was a 1st. Cowen has very little value. Try again.

2.) 15 Jun 2015 16:26:56
Nothing wrong with Lazar but don't really need 2nd/3rd line centers.

3.) 15 Jun 2015 16:35:45
I think for Hall it's going to Cost Lehner, Hoffman, Ceci & 1st or 2 2nds. Something like that anyways, EDM may want Stone over Hoffman

4.) 16 Jun 2015 13:26:40
wow . people really have no clue of OTT player values.

12 Jun 2015 15:21:27
Ottawa says they are a win now mode but will end up trading Lehner and won't get a piece back that will help them win now so.

BUFF: Lehner, 3rd Round Pick
OTT: 1st Round Pick (21st Overall)

Buffalo can afford to give this pick up for a goalie Tim Murray knows well

Ottawa then flips this pick to Chicago for Sharp

CHI: Sharp
OTT: 1st Round Pick (21st Overall)

Sharp Zbad Ryan
Macarthur Turris Stone
Hoffman Pageau Lazar
Prince Smith Chiasson

Trade away Michalek and Legwand for late round picks. Neil could fetch a third Round pick to a team that wants him

SensSansSpezza

1.) 12 Jun 2015 16:02:41
Don't think Lehner is worth a 1st and adding a 1st still doesn't cut it.

2.) 12 Jun 2015 16:16:27
Adding a 3rd** is what I meant to say

3.) 12 Jun 2015 16:24:40
Agreed, I wouldn't give up a 1st for Lehner.

4.) 12 Jun 2015 16:45:59
I thought Lehner could rack in more

5.) 12 Jun 2015 18:13:56
And I find those trades very believable.

6.) 13 Jun 2015 17:44:47
I actually like this.

05 Jun 2015 13:59:13
BUFF: Lehner, Cowen, Legwand
OTT: Ristolainen, 3rd Round Pick

CHI: 2nd Round Pick, 4th Round Pick, Hoffman
OTT: Sharp

NJD: Michalek
OTT: 5th Round Pick

WNG: Neil
OTT: 3rd Round Pick

Sharp Zibanajad Ryan
Macarthur Turris Stone
Prince Pageau Lazar
Puempel Smith Chiasson

Karlsson Methot
Weircioch Ristolainen
Ceci Boro/Chris Wideman

Andy
Hamburglar

SensSansSpezza

1.) 05 Jun 2015 14:52:01
Risto is untouchable

2.) 05 Jun 2015 15:33:22
Agreed with tank4mcEichel, Risto is a future top pairing defence man for the Sabres

Only problem is O'Reilly will be demanding a huge salary after his contract expires next season and with Ottawa's internal budget someone will pay him a lot more then we could offer. so trading Zbad for one year of ROR. no thank you

As a sens fan I would swap out Ceci for Cowen and if Oilers accepted that I would say done deal

Chiasson has some potential but doesn't fit in well in our system in Ottawa

More along the likes of

Edm: Lehner, Hoffman, Cowen, 2015 2nd Rounder
Ott: Taylor Hall

And still not sure if Edm would do that
