Definitely believable. I think TO should hold out for a 1st though, and I would go out of my way to say that someone will offer a 1st.

i agree I think with the way Franson is playing right now and his age/ size and the way dman are in high demand Toronto would make a huge mistake if they don't get a first for him

Franson I have a feeling will sign a long term discounted contract and stays at home with the leafs.

He loves Toronto, Loves being a leaf
Long time child hood fan of the blue and white.

4 Year 16-18 million range.

Unless a trade comes that wows the leafs and Franson , Or is used as a rental then as an UFA resigns with Toronto but at a higher amount

But like any other UFA season he will be overpaid to play elsewhere

franson obviously is a leaf fan, but he has been treated like trash over his last 2 contracts. for that reason I can't see him resigning, at least he won't take a discount. with that said, i'd be very happy to get a 1st for him and like has been said above, I think someone will give that for him, especially if they believe they can sign him.

I agree with shankar. well said. as much as I love franson I would rather see him play on a team where he is treated better than he is now.
