On Vancouver radio, E. Kane didn't deny wanting out of Winnipeg when asked. So this is one little idea.

To Boston: Kane and Wheeler
To Winnipeg: Eriksson, Marchand, Kelly, and a 2nd

Helps Boston move a little further from the cap and they get two great wingers

Winnipeg gets two good wingers back along with center depth

Boston got rid of Seguin because of off ice issues. There is no way they are going to touch Kane who's head is bigger than the city he lives in.

Worked out good for Dallas too. Sure it wasnt because his terrible playoff performance? Same thing happened to Kessle and look how that turned out. Had Wheeler. Got rid of him. Kane isn't worth that much. Patrick Kane maybe. Eriksson and the second is enough. Drop Wheeler though.

Reimer has very little trade value because of the stockpile of available goalies, so that would essentially be Kadri for Kane. And that won't happen.

Winnipeg needs a goalie according to who? You? Cause whether with you agree with the choice or not, Cheveldayoff has given Pavalec the nod. He is their number 1. They were looking at Reimer as a backup but the leafs wanted too much

Not saying anything about the trade offers but reimer is better than pavalec and will cost less, not saying wpg has to trade for him but if they honestly think pavalec is going to do better for them than reimer they are in trouble. Hutchinson will have a better shot at being the starter than pavalec, who imo is a 4 mill back up. Reimer is a manitoba boy that'd be amped to play in front of his hometown crowd and family, looking to prove himself after a weak season and definitely has the potential and track record to be much better than pavalec, I dunno what the leafs are asking for but I can't imagine its the moon and stars, If i'm wpg i'd take a gamble on him for sure
