I don't know if its our suggestion trades or real rumor we've heard but that my suggestion
To vegas : Domi and a 2pick

To mtl : stastny tuch and a 1st pick

Lets me explain vegas want a top 2 def in pietrangelo or krug and if they can t trade fleury they need money so they need to move a bad contract like stastny too high for is productivity and montreal can take that bad contract for a year and tuch is drop in trade
And domi could be a very good 2 center for vegas and mtl need a big rw what your tough.

Domi reportedly wants as much as Statsny makes. So this is a completely useless trade and that doesn’t even take into account how terrible the value is for Vegas. Tuch is young, big, can skate, be physical and just had a breakout playoff offensively AND he’s signed for less than $5M long term.

MTL gets him and a 1st rounder? Awful trade for VGK.

I’ve actually went over this thought in my mind as well. not saying your trade has the ability or not to actually work but there is a deal to be made by these two teams imo.

I understand your reply but i think domi would cost the same of tuch for a bridge contract around 5 so mtl take a 7M on your cap space and the first is a late choice like 28 or 27 its almost a 2 nd but i know that maybe i need to add something in this trade like some prospect or other but i think they have something to start with that base.

I think it could work. Maybe make the picks a 2nd from Vegas and 3rd or 4th from Montreal? Or instead of Tuch a Fluery Allen swap?

Vegas needs to still build a prospect pool. I think they keep the first. If they want lehner, they'll find a way to trade fleury, he has always put the team first. Fleury could be enticing to several teams, even if he's traded for another goalie at 1m or so.
