No from Habs. say what ya want, but Price is still a really good goalie. he's not going anywhere, unless he asks for it, and unless he asks got one out West, I don't see him leaving Montreal.
He hasn't been MVP like the last couple years, however, he's still above average. A Habs team with him is a lot better than one without.
Last times Habs traded a Superstar goalie, didn't work out so well.

I haven't seen too many people here call Price a bad goalie, most just point out reality.

Price ranks 27th this year in save percentage (of goalies that at least played 30 games), is 32 and still has 6 more years at $10.5 mil.

He's not going to pull in the king's ransom Habs fans think he will when you can easily find a goalie that will give you the same save percentage for half the cost or less.

He hasn't been a superstar for at least 3 years.

Honestly I think the Canes take this deal and run all the way to the bank $$$ flying from their pockets. Price may not be his 2014 Vezna trophy self but he is still a top goalie. What his save % and GAA don't tell you is how many of those goals were a result of his play or the play in front of him. The Habs gave up the most odd man rushes this year, the second most shots per game. Were ranked what 19th on the PK and lost the most games by 1 goal (20) those stats tell me that the stats are skewed to reflect the team play more so than the goalies play.
