Faulk has one year left. It would have to be with an extension at a very team friendly number.

For the 123,678 time, Faulk is not the type of dman the Leafs need. A RHd defensive minded, big bodied dman is the need.

@DonsCherry, I’ve said that 100 times too. The reason I think it’s a possibility is like I said with an extension that’s very team friendly. Because right now we have Rielly/ Gardiner on the left and really only zaitsev on the right. The only young D that’s proven he can be a top 4 is Dermott, also a lefty. So If we had Faulk and zaitsev on the right side, and Rielly/ dermott on the left, letting Gardiner chase big money elsewhere. Faulk would replace Gardiners playing style, while dermott replaces his spot on the Left side in the top 4. Does that make sense to you?
