Another Oilers major trade!

Oilers: Skinner, Faulk, Lindholm

Hurricanes: Draisaitl, Puljujarvi, Benning

** RNH has proven himself this year and would be fine as the teams 2nd line center. Draisaitl will get a lot in return and the Oilers need more skill on the wing. Lindholm is a Righty-C and would look good with McD. Skinner is a good scorer on the wing and Faulk helps make a more solid D-core.

Maroon - McDavid - Lindholm
Skinner - RNH - Lucic

Klefbom - Larrson
Nurse - Faulk

I think that makes the oilers better and deeper today as 3 productive nhl players come into a line up with really 1 leaving (even thought he’s the best one) . But long term that doesn’t help them as their top prospect is gone and cap managment is out the window.

Make it Russel instead of Benning for cap? That’s a lot of value coming back but I don’t know if they’d trade Draisaitl. I’d hate to but this fills a few needs for the Oil so I’d do it.

Thats really big change. Would rather acquiring faulk for a different package instead of giving up drais. Maybe RNH + Nurse + Puljujarvi for Faulk + Lindholm.
