I think Stone signs for more if he only takes 2 years. In a weak class players are going to get paid.

I agree with you, if Stone wants an overpayment, I'd say stick to the shannaplan.

I personally think that the Leafs should go for Alzner instead.

I don't think any d man should be signed for more than $4-5 million. That's about what Reilly, Gardiner and Zaitsev are making. You shouldn't have a guy like Stone making more. Unless they are bringing in a big name #1-2 than the price should be less than their current top 3 make.
