As a leaf fan, not a trade i'd like to make because i'm a big fan of downtown Connor Brown, but.

C. Brown to the Florida Panthers in exchange for M. Pysyk.

Brown has a higher value, chl top point producer, ahl rookie of the year and 20 goals in his rookie year. All for a defense who's 25 and bounced around from a couple nhl teams and the ahl.

I don't think Brown is a main piece in a trade, unless it's for a 4-6 d-man. But given how he's developed I wouldn't move him unless you're getting something really good back

Now I could see him as a piece in a bigger trade that tips the scales for the Leafs on acquiring a big name.
