No way Tampa'd do that unless they have inside info that the injury is career threatening and there's no chance of 100% recovery.

Stammer's Salary is the deal breaker here. Oilers simply can't afford him.

If there was no cap. I'd say Oilers would still have to add something else to make this fair for both teams.
