Nice trade. I think it's fair value wise. Although if I'm Chevy I stay away from Dekeysers contract. Long term risky deal if you ask me. Could pan out, but for now he's overpaid big time.

Take out the first and its fair. Trouba is good but he's not worth all that. Starting to become crazy how much people think his value is. If he was that great Jets would move another defenseman and sign trouba long term.

Yup 100% Mclarty I think the same way. I was going to put a lesser prospect or a lower draft pick instead but most people say on Trouba proposals that there isn't enough for him.
And yeah BJ Dekysers contract is bad if Jets wanna be salary wise. What about Brendan Smith?

I would hate for the Wings to do this. Doesn't help our defense enough to get rid of our 1 decent defenseman to replace him with a good defenseman to justify a first and top prospect. Sadly the Wings problems run much deeper than being 1 good defenseman away from contending.
