Even at Mid 40's, I don't see the Panthers letting go their leading Scorer anytime soon unless he starts regressing hard, especially not for an already regressing Marian Hossa with a bad contract.

Even if you disregard just how much he is producing on the ice, he is worth a heck of a lot more to Florida in the locker room with some of the young guys there. He's like a father-brother-best buddy there. It's so awesome.

Florida has spent there dollars and term in the right places. Reilly, ekblad, trochek, goaltending etc. Won't want hossas contract. They're happy as hell to have jagr and deal with him one year at a time until he can't keep up.
