Car: Rask, Carrick OR Slavin
Wpg: Enstrom, Burmistrov, 3rd

Carolina gets Burmistrov who just can't seem to produce in the Jets system but put up 65 pts in 100 games in the KHL and Enstrom who will be able to play a much bigger role in Carolina than in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg gets a real top 9 C with Rask and gives them good depth down the middle and a left handed D that will be cheaper cost than Enstrom

Fair?

Why on earth does Winnipeg want Rask?
And Enstrom is their bed left handed D, I believe. Buff, Myers and Trouba all right side.

It is a good trade for both teams. Jets get Rask to mentor Hellebuyck
Carrick over Slavin who is a left handed d-man. They dump Enstrom, if he wants to go due to his no trade contract, and Burmistrov who the Jets can replace with one of their many prospects. Lose the 3rd pick though.

^^Victor Rask is real good. I think this is pretty believable. Winnipeg wants to dump Enstrom, they might need to add higher pick though.

At the expansion draft Wpg can only protect 3 d and unless traded they have to protect Enstrom. Also Winnipeg has no one (good enough atm) to play 3rd line C.

the can chose option B and protect x amount of skaters n 1 goalie, exposing more forwards, now how can a center in Victor Rask mentor Hellebuyck a goaile? maybe life lessons? doubt the jets would do this.

Harry96- unless you count Perrault and IMO Lowry as long as he bounces back from the sophomore slump he had last year. Copp MIGHT even develope into that guy too. If Perrault is on the wing though (top six) Rask is most certainly an upgrade with good size and potential to even move up a line in the future. Lose the pick and I like the trade.

65pts in 100 games in tge B league, equals maybe better than Burmi gives us, but not much, at NHL level. Plus he has to work twice as hard to be at his level on D compared to KHL.
