Just read of a potential trade looming between the Hawks and Leafs

CHI: Colin Greening and Stuart Percy
TOR: Bryan Bickell and Ryan Hartman

Not sure how true it is but I wanted to hear your thoughts. I don't think the Leafs should be giving up defensive prospects right now.

Ive seen that too and Percy looks like he will be a steady D man but I have always liked Hartman. Would be a good hockey trade since they would (Chicago) rid themselves of Bickell.

Would love it as a Leaf fan Bickell has a bad contract but so does Greening and he'd be like our 2nd Komorov with 3 cups under his belt. Could play in our bottom 6 and mentor/ stick up for our young talent. Future 3rd line
Leipsic- Gauthier- Hartman would be nice. We have Harrington, Neilson, Vailev, Dermont, Corrado even. Also that Russian who wants to sign with us he's only 24. Percy is decent but Hartman was just a 1st rd pick 2 yrs ago.

I don't really see how this makes sense, maybe the only way to trade bickell is for another bad, cheaper contract. Read that chi would buy out greening after this season, but Percy is an rfa after this season and Hartman has two years left at more than 200'000 less than Percy makes now. Only would make sense if chicago didn't have a few already young de making an impact. Tvr, Svedberg and Gustafsson already playing making less than Percy, unless Percy is head and shoulders above those guys, I don't know much about Percy.
