Montreal: Beaulieu, 1st, Galchenyuk,5th, Eller, tinordi, 3d
Columbus: johansen, rychel, murray
The value is ther in my opinion and by the way, the columbus'. GM is known for being a big fan of Eller and he is the one who made the blues draft him when he was still working there.
Eller+Beaulieu=Murray
Galchenyuk+1st+5th=johansen
Tinordi+5th=Rychel.

how does beaulieu+eller=murray lol

I think galchenyuk+1st+3rd is fair for johansen

rychel can actually play in the nhl lol.

The deal it's self didn't look bad but once I got to your breakdown I sorta changed my mind. Rychel is worth way more then Tinordi and a crap pick. I don't see why you value Eller so much. He's an average 3rd liner nothing special. I'd take Murray over him and Beaulieu and they wouldn't move RyJo for Chucky and a few picks IMO.
Pretty good considering Habs fan deals these days.

On another note : just saying, I think atleast 20 teams would offer a better package for RyJo, Rychel&Murray.

As a Hab fan I would not trade Galchenyuk a 1st and a 5th for RyJo. Galchenyuk is 2 years younger and also was drafted 3rd overall like RyJo. IMO they are going to have similar career paths with similar numbers and so far Gally doesn't have any off ice stories around him like RyJo. I don't believe any negative RyJo rumors but just the thought of 'where there's smoke there's fire' surrounds RyJo and not Gally. Maybe a straight up trade 1 for 1 but why would the Habs do that? Why would they throw in a 1st and 5th? I would love to have Gally and RyJo as a one-two punch down the middle for the Habs but not sure they have the players+prospects+draft picks to get it done.
If a deal was done between the teams it would have to involve Plek or Eller just from a position/ salary point of view for both sides. Then what would CBJ need for prospects and/ or draft picks from the Habs to get it done? I would give Plek/ Eller and then tell CBJ to fill their boots with whatever prospects and DP's (within reason) they want to get it done. I would not give up Beaulieu just because losing him would create a hole on D. Why fill one hole by creating another? I don't think RyJo goes to Mtl.

Completely agree with Mercury10. Why would Habs give Galchenyuk for Johansen? Individually Johansen might have better stats with a 26-goal and a 33-goal season, but Galchenyuk is on a steady rise and you can see how much his confidence has increased this year, which leads me to believe in a few years, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. And another thing that gives Galchenyuk the edge over Johansen? Despite Johansen have an extra year experience, he's only played in 1 playoff series. Galchenyuk in three seasons already has 6 series in his body (1 conference final and another conference semi) .

On top of that, you want to add a 1st and a 5th? What has Johansen done to be worth an NHL star on the rise and 2 picks (1st and 5th) . Terrible deal for MTL.

In my personal book, only untouchables for trades are Price, Subban, Beaulieu, Pacioretty, Galchenyuk, and Gallagher.
