I hate myself for doing this but… a couple of leafs offseason moves:

TOR- Kessel, 24th overall

CAR- Semin, 5th overall

If Carolina doesn't think they need a rebuild this will be a boost in offence while Toronto moves up in the draft.

TOR- Reilly

EDM- Draisaitl, 16th overall, 34th overall

This one might be unbelievable but both teams do benefit from it.

TOR- Phaneuf (1 mil retained), 16th overall

PHI- Lecavalier, Grossman, 7th overall

Philly gets cap relief and a top d. Toronto gets another top 10 pick.

I'm guessing Toronto would need cap relief (haven't actually looked at the numbers) but could possibly trade Lupul and Grossman.

Draft:
4th- Hanifin
5th- Marner/Strome
7th- Provorov

Honestly don't know what the lineup would look like and not sure what prospects are ready for the NHL but I'd say Draisaitl, Hanifin, Marner, Provorov, Nylander is a good group to build around. Kadri, Gardiner, Bernier are all good supporting caste.
And this would only happen if Babcock okays the rebuild I'm guessing.

Draisaitl is a great prospect but ill take Rielly 9 times out of 10.
