To get rid of salary, I would personally try to get rid of bickell's contract, let oduya walk (I believe he's ufa at the end of the season?).

Chicago: Bickell
Ottawa: prince + 3rd?

Chicago: Bickell
Winnipeg: Lowry + 4th?

Chicago: Bickell
Edmonton: 2nd round pick?

Chicago: Bickell
Buffalo: Zadorov?

What would be closest? What is bickell's value?

LOL. Those got progressively worse. Like how do you think he's worth zadorov? Or Lowry?

Bickel is an overpaid 3rd liner that's worth a mid pick to a team with cap space.

So Shankar, what do you suggest? To a team like Florida or buffalo for a 3rd or 4th?

Bickell could fecth a 3rd, buffalo could be a good idea as he can provide leadership to a younger team

yup, 3rd or 4th, more likely a 4th imo, as the other team will use CHI's cap situation as leverage.

Bickell for a 3rd to Buffalo? I think that he may be worth more than that, but not to Buffalo unless Murray was thinking of flipping him some time during the year and retain his salary. Kane, Moulson, Foligno and Deslouriers look like the left wingers for the next two to three year.

bickel would be good for the oilers on the third line. However, Hawks won't get picks in return. They would get Purcell or nikitin. Each of Purcell and nikitin have $4.5 million for 1 year. Bickel has 2 years; $4 million per season.

Which would render the trade completely useless for CHI in the first place
