I know the leafs want to get younger but it doesn't hurt to have a leader. I added a 3rd because of the age difference. LA just lost another d too.

I think Doan would be a perfect fit in Boston. Maybe too much for a 38 year old?
Myers to Detroit. I don't know what is a fair return but time is running out for Datsyuk & Zetterberg. Detroit should make something happen in my opinion without shaking up the current roster too much.

Ive heard LA is kicking tires on Clarkson, Toronto would have to retain some salary tho.

I am in no way shape or form that Toronto be in any position to retain salary.
Read any of my previous posts to see how hard fast opposed I think the leafs should be in retaining salary but its hard to ignore the Clarkson signing retaining some is a way better option than buyout. Hate to say it but may be the only option
