I like the term of the contract. However, how do you justify throwing that much money @ a player when 9/10 RFA's are signing "Bridge Contracts"? IMO, the deal should have been 2 Years @$2.8/yr

Good deal for leafs, jake gardiner is a solid dman with lots of potential getting 4 million, Nikita nikitin signed for 4.5 with oilers. Does anyone think nikitin is a better dman than gardiner?
