To Colorado : Drouin
To Montréal: Jost and Timmins.

1.) 26 Sep 2019 16:28:50
To much from Colorado I think Timmons should be a peice Colorado should hold on to.

2.) 26 Sep 2019 18:00:25
At first I liked it because Drouin has so much skill. But looking closer at his stats, a career high of 53 points… I agree with VB, it’s too much. Unless they think he’ll be an 80+ player with MacKinnon.

To Carolina: Kase and a 4rd pick
To Anaheim : Faulk with contract extension.

spari19

1.) 10 Sep 2019 16:04:19
I hope for the Ducks sake they don't trade for Faulk. The guy is a trainwreck defensively. Especially at the cost of Kase.

2.) 12 Sep 2019 09:50:05
What kind of contract? It’s impossible to judge this trade without knowing a little more information. Faulk is a third line defensemen on the top 10 teams in the league. He’s a second line defenseman on 20 teams in the league, and a top line defenseman on maybe one or two teams in the league. In Anaheim, he would be second line initially, but could easily slip to third line if Guhle, Larsson, or anyone else steps up.

To Pittsburgh: Jesse Pullujarvi

To edmonton: Tristan Jarry + conditional 2nd round pick in 2021 becomes 1 round pick if Pullijarvi gets 45 points and resign with pittsburgh

Penguins gets a player who could fit in that team and also he could start producing with regularity

Edmonton get a goalie who can play a couple of game in NHL and take a chance to have a 1st round pick in rewards.

spari19

1.) 29 Aug 2019 17:53:06
Edm doesn’t need or want Jarry in any Puljujärvi deal.

2.) 29 Aug 2019 17:57:05
2 of edmontons top ten prospects are goalies, really no need to get another goalie cause they set for next couple years until one is ready.

3.) 29 Aug 2019 18:05:45
JR goaltending position in the Oilers organization has a no vacancy sign flashing already so a tender back in trade is highly unlikely.

4.) 30 Aug 2019 00:00:22
Also Murray needs a full season or 2 without getting hurt before Pitts trades goalies away.

5.) 30 Aug 2019 02:45:25
Idk why but i feel like Jarry has like no value lol

22 Aug 2019 12:23:08
To winnipeg: Niderreiter, 1sr rnd pick + 3rd rnd pick

To Carolina: Laine

For carolina good trade can reunite Aho and Laine.

For Winnipeg good trade get a fowart can help this team and he can play anywhere in the line up + young prospects with draft picks.

spari19

1.) 22 Aug 2019 13:20:13
Terrible assessment of the trade. No chance the Jets give up Laine for a bottom 6 winger and some picks. The Jets aren't interested in trading Laine, so you would need to offer something that wows them. Not a whole bunch of nothing.

2.) 22 Aug 2019 13:35:56
Bottom six winger?.... bruh and you call me a biased homer ahaha

3.) 22 Aug 2019 13:52:15
On the Jets he's bottom six. Connor, Ehlers, Wheeler and Vesalainen would all be ahead of him. So yes, definitely bottom six. You would see that if you set aside your bias for once.

4.) 22 Aug 2019 14:27:00
Niño would be top 6 he would play over ehlers and vesa. Now saying that jets don't so this deal not enough value and I do believe the jets are listening on liane I don't think they are fans of his attitude.

5.) 22 Aug 2019 14:30:24
The Jets won't be trading Laine especially for that fantasy offer.

6.) 22 Aug 2019 14:55:19
No chance a guy who is averaging 17 goals a year and trending down, plays ahead of Ehlers and/ or Vesalainen. NN is absolutely a bottom 6 player on Winnipeg. On Montreal NN is probably a first line player vb, but on Winnipeg he's bottom 6. We have 4 wingers that are easily better than him.

7.) 22 Aug 2019 16:51:32
I don't get your hype on ehlers but that's a side point. But look at what nino did when givin the chance to produce which he wasn't in minny he took off was one of the best wingers down the stretch. The trade offer is not enough but Nino would forsure play in top 6.

8.) 22 Aug 2019 17:25:33
Not even close to a realistic trade offer. Next.

9.) 22 Aug 2019 19:26:33
It's impossible to post a Jets trade.
Memarcus and IslandJet are going to say no unless it heavily favours the Jets.

10.) 22 Aug 2019 19:34:37
Sounds eerily similar to the talk before the trouba trade.

11.) 22 Aug 2019 19:56:48
No it doesn't have to heavily favour Winnipeg. It just can't be a deal where you're offering 3 dimes for a dollar, like this one. You thinking this is a fair trade says a lot about how biased you are.

12.) 22 Aug 2019 20:23:26
Island has been a lot better since the Trouba trade IMO.
Marcus - are you implying someone is a homer for Carolina or is everyone is just out to devalue the Jets? because i don't believe either is true to be honest. Most people are not devoted to either team so they should have a fairly unbiased opinion.
Just my 2 cents.

13.) 22 Aug 2019 20:25:13
I find it amazing that people feebly try to compare a situation where a player had to be traded and would only accept a trade to one team to a situation where the team has no intentions at all to trade the player. It really makes you wonder if those people understand hockey even slightly.

14.) 22 Aug 2019 21:39:32
Actually, Thunder Turkey, looking at the responses in this thread, it's pretty easy to see that some of the guys are posting in this thread to try and bash Laine by suggesting that this is a fair trade.

Point me to one post by me in this thread that is biased or homerish at all. There isn't one.

Yet, supposedly I am the one being biased. While nobody is complaining about obviously biased posts from vbisclueless, Sean and TyBa4.

15.) 22 Aug 2019 21:52:17
You’re far far more biased than those you mentioned marcusjoe. It’s not even close.

16.) 22 Aug 2019 22:13:33
Coming from you, one of the most biased guys on the site yupp? Lol

Go ahead and point me to one biased post by me.

17.) 22 Aug 2019 22:24:28
HOw was I biased I said it's not enough for the jets and that Nino would be a top 6 winger in the peg.

18.) 22 Aug 2019 22:50:55
Vb it's because you aren't being objective on where Niederreiter would slot based on hate for the Jets and ignorance of their lineup.

Objectively, the Jets have four wingers in the top 6 better than NN:

Wheeler - much better than NN.
Connor - already better than NN and younger
Ehlers - already better than NN and younger
Vesalainen - at worst equal to NN, but way younger and way cheaper.

So, zero chance NN plays in the Jets top 6 (without injuries) .

19.) 23 Aug 2019 01:12:48
I don’t think I’m hiding the fact that I’m biased towards the Oilers. I’m pretty sure I mentioned it at least thrice but I’m no where near as biased as you and islandjet are.

I never said this was a fair trade, so stop grasping at straws to try and counter. What I said was, it’s impossible to post a fair trade that includes the Jets because of you two.

20.) 23 Aug 2019 01:14:05
Laine>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Nino.

21.) 23 Aug 2019 02:28:54
He has a point he’s be bottom 6 on the peg.

22.) 23 Aug 2019 03:00:36
Okay TyBa4, nice deflection. Let me know when you see a fair proposal on here for a Jets player and we can debate it.

Where are all these fair proposals for the Jets that Islandjet and I have supposedly turned down. Go ahead name one.

What do you mean you can't name one? Is it because there haven't been any fair proposals that we've turned down, but you don't want to admit that because it doesn't fit your agenda that we're biased?

23.) 23 Aug 2019 03:46:23
The point should be, Nino himself isn’t a bottom six player like you implied. he's a 40-50 point guy Marcus. If you want to play that game, then guys like Sebastian Aho, Max Domi, Logan Couture, Anze Kopitar, etc. are all third liners because they’d be worse than Auston Matthews and John Tavares on the Leafs? Its such a stupid argument bud, its biased as hell lmfao.

24.) 23 Aug 2019 06:13:04
How is vesalainen already better than NN? Hasn't he played like 5 nhl games?

He has potential, but I doubt he wins a spot in the top 6 over NN. When he did get a chance in Carolina's top 6, he played very well last year. Was considered a steal for Rask.

25.) 23 Aug 2019 14:26:30
Topshelf, actually where he would play is exactly the point and the only point that matters. It doesn't matter where his points would rank him. On the Jets, NN is a third line player. Team needs is the most important aspect to any trade.

So, trading a first line winger for a 3rd line winger, makes zero sense for Winnipeg.

No bias at all, just plain old factual statements.

26.) 23 Aug 2019 14:51:43
Lmao. Those aren’t facts what so ever. Wow. Those are your opinions.
Unless it’s Chevy or Mourice saying it, they are a fans opinions. Jesus Christ.

27.) 23 Aug 2019 15:51:07
Exactly yupp. Everyone here is expressing their opinions. So, all the Jets haters opinions are no more valid than the Jets fans opinions. Although Jets fans will have a far better idea on the team depth chart than the Jets haters.

So what makes the Jets haters opinions more valid than the Jets fans opinions?

28.) 23 Aug 2019 16:18:06
Actually, I’d argue that non fans of teams have a better idea of what a teams players are worth, because unlike you memarcus, they don’t overvalue due to love for their players.

More so, Vesalainen has played 5 NHL games, so this idea you have that Vesalainen is already better than NN is laughable and proves the gross bias you so vehemently deny you have. I mean, unless you can see the future and know for sure that Vesalainen will our score NN this year, of course. Can you see the future?

29.) 23 Aug 2019 17:02:16
Well when you state that your opinions are factual statements, that’s one of the most biased things you could possibly say ever. Pretty crazy.

To wild: Jost and timmins
To Colorado ; Parise

Colorado gets a wigner who can play on 2nd line with Kadri and make Colorado a Cup contender.

Wild gets two young player with a good development Jost will replace Parise in 2 years and Timmins will play in top 4 defensman.

spari19

1.) 20 Aug 2019 17:15:05
Parise with no retention isn't even worth one of those prospect. Maybe

Col:Jost

Wild:Parise (20 % retain)

2.) 20 Aug 2019 18:18:01
Lol. Aves laugh.

3.) 20 Aug 2019 18:40:28
In what world would Colorado accept this? Although parise did have a bit of a bounce back, no one in there right mind will take on that contract as is, not to mention the injury histroy. Let alone for a potential top 6 forward and top 4 d that are both 21 from a division rival.

4.) 21 Aug 2019 00:41:04
I read an article that parise was almost traded at 50% retained a week or two ago. No way minny trades him. For an accepting team or Minnesota. Just to much of a gamble.

5.) 21 Aug 2019 06:19:03
