Wpg: Hellebuyck
Wpg city: Two large pylons

Two large pylons can save the jets some cap space and make a better contribution. Hellebuyck's contract would eat away at WPG's city budget for road repair after winter but he scoops so many pucks out from the back of the net, scooping asphalt shouldn't be hard.

Thoughts?

I think you're someone that doesn't watch much hockey.

2.) 08 Oct 2019 01:55:28
Hellebuyck is worth at least a first.

3.) 08 Oct 2019 02:28:02
Winnipeg has no interest in trading Hellebucyk at this time.

I can't see the Jets turning down either one.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 16:18:04
No chance this trade ever happens. Why even post such a silly trade.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 19:03:15
Maybe if Rivkard Rakell is coming as well.

4.) 02 Feb 2019 04:16:33
Dear Islandjet. Why silly? Happy to hear your take.

Jets could use the depth that either bring and certainly the position that Hayes has. Remember. FFF (flags fly forever) and the Jets' window is now, not when Laine wakes up but ends up breaking the bank or getting demoralized (current reports suggest he's upset on his line) .

In the meantime, the costs saved with Laine, spend on Hayes or Stone. Comrie is too big to linger on the Moose. so let this moose loose.

I'd also look for an LD in the meantime. Maybe throw in a 1st rounder in 2021 for that. FFF.

A few months ago I mentioned Laine for Stone. LV is on fire now and I fear they'll knock us out again. Laine on the other hand ain't doing much but a few assists and a couple of goals. We'll see come round 3 where we're at.

To be clear I also mentioned Laine for Hayes in the same breath and happy we didn't do that.

Laine for Stone would have been absolutely horrific for the Jets.

Laine is a 20 year old player that has scored over 100 goals in the NHL and who is developing into a well rounded player. I can't see the Jets trading him anytime soon.

3.) 20 Mar 2019 21:23:49
well rounded my ass. if he comes close to as a well rounded player as ovie (who everyone shouted laine being the second coming of) then talk about is "well rounded-ness" something to talk about in 10 years.

4.) 21 Mar 2019 00:09:35
Laine had deffinetley had a rough year, other than the 5 goal game. However, to trade away a 20 year old SuperStar in the making would be a big mistake . He probably won't be as good as Ovie, however, I believe in 15 years, we will be talking about Laine as the best pure goal scorer of his generation .

What’s with all the hate on Laine? He has the second to best 1 timer in the game, well rounded shot up there with the best and very good hands he has potential to be a well rounded player as you see the occasional great defensive play ( if you guys remember the highlight real back check to stop the empty net goal ) . But he is 1 dimensional goal scorer but he is one of the greatest at it.
