Virtanen is a big body, fast as hell and is having a breakout year. I’d rather keep him than get the bust that is a Galchenyuk. I don’t hate Gal, but he just doesn't equal Virtanen, and a 2nd doesn’t make up the difference.

Virtanen had a slow start his career for sure, but he sure has come around this year. I was at the game last night against San Jose and he was a beast. Like vertius said he is a big body that can fly and score. Galchenyuk is a nhl-er but not a difference maker like Virtanen will be come playoff time.

These guys talk about bias but they just don’t understand value as much as they think they do. Virt has at least double- if not triple the value Galchenyuk has.

I wanted Habs to trade McCarron for Virtanen. Damn wish that would have happened. I've always liked him, since he was a Calgary Hitmen.
