How do you figure we gain cap space?
You have mony at 5.375 with 1 million retained which makes him 4.375. Zad is at 3.75 so those numbers added up equals 8.125 which is leaving Calgary. Decent amount. But what you have coming back in return is 5.5 for Anderson and 3.5 for chiarot plus that million retained stays on our cap hit. Those numbers equal out to 10 million coming onto our books. Where is the cap space we gain?

You can't use Zary as a player you fill next season as you trade him to the sabers for Sam reinhart.
