EDM: Ekblad
FLA: Hamonic, Matthews
NYI: Eberle +
assuming edm wins the lottery. Hamonic is a top pairing RHD to fill the Ekblad void and they get matthews to be 1C. Edm gets a true #1 D (same age as mcd) . Hamonic is worth more than eberle, but can only be moved so many places to i don't know what the + would be. maybe jones or bear or a future 2nd or 3rd.

So basically you want Ekblad in Edmonton. Not going to happen. Besides Florida has no reason to get Mathews, Barkov and Bjugstad are doing just fine.
