It looks as if the Leafs are done making moves for this year; they could potentially be better this year with the acquisition of Right Handed defensemen and depth in their bottom 6 to take the work load off their top lines.

he won't get much right now, i'd be happier to let him develop and see if he can become anything in the AHL 1st

Agree, Leafs may be marginally better but they will struggle mightily to make the playoffs, still way too many liabilities on the blueline
One of many who believe Phaneuf is a total waste of 7 million dollars!
Peddle him for a 2nd round pick and use the money and pick up Seabrooke from the Hawks. Franson is a disaster and needs to go. Give the kids on the farm a chance to develope with the big club, they couldn`t be any worse.
