Lets make something clear ok I saw lot of fans putting galchenyuk in trade like he got no value! He is Montreal prodigy it would take a lot move galchenyuk out of montreal! Ask any habs fan and they will tell you the same thing!bergevin will only trade him if is 1 year as center is terrible wich is why they draft him to become habs big 1 line center.
Ps: I think in a near future we could see him on a 1 Line with pacioretty and scherback has is winger! Damn

Shank let's be honest here what do you know about galchenyuk! You must a hater or something cause you did not saw him play has center when he got draft we compared him to a Jonathan toews! Of course he won't be has good has him but I think that he could be has in 3 years from Now a elite center in the nhl don't Forget johansen and seguin were choose in 2010 and there number explode this year people use to say the same thing about them they Will be 1 liner but not elite!

I do think Galchenyuk will become a number 1 center. But a good pro comparasion isn't even close to Johnathan Toews. More like a Nicklas Backstrom, underrated but one of the best passers in the game with a great shot along with the speed.

If he wants to be talked about in the conversation with Toews he needs to become a stellar penalty killer as well.

so what you're telling me is that in 3 years galchenyuk will be an elite centre I the league?

you do realize the elites are crosby, malkin, stammer, giroux, kopitar? galchenyuk has NO CHANCE of being that good. could he be as good as johansen or seguin, sure, but they aren't anywhere near the top of the leeague.

I did not say top 5 I said top 10 but agreed let's say 10-15 considering the fact that most team don't have a elite centerman! Exemple: Toronto, Phoenix, bufallo, Calgary and more I already put Seguin and Johansson in my top 15

and back to my previous point. here are 10 C's in no patricular order that galchenyuk will not be better than in 3 years. crosby, malkin, toews, giroux, stammer, getzlaf, bergeron, duchene, kopitar, tavares. so no, galchenyuk will not be a top 10-15 C in the league.
