What's everyone's thoughts on the deal between the Blackhawks and the Panthers?

Chicago got Knight and a 2026 1st
Florida got Jones with $2.5mill retention.

I think they have to a plan to trade mrazek or soderbloom. They can't retain on mrazek. So sell cheap on mrazek or high on soderbloom. Or just did it for the first and put knight on waivers to send him down to the minors which is probably most likely.

I think it's a decent deal. This gives Florida security over ekblads UFA status. Losing knight could end up stinging in a couple years as Bob ages. But each team addresses a key issue for both now and next season.
