This may be the most lop-sided homer trade ever. Matheson doesn't get you either Jiricek or the pick 1x1, and to suggest that begets you both is mind boggling.

To do 50%, you add, not the other team. Matheson might get a 1st 50% at the deadline if a very desperate team wants him very bad. Montreal stll add a top prospect for retaining. Let's not kid ourselves, savard may get you A 2nd without retention.
