Detroit Trades
PKane*
Toronto Trades
NRobertson
TMiller (AHL)
Peksa (ECHL)
*Detroit retains 2 million of PKane's expiring Contract.
This trade for both is something I can truly see happening imo, maybe not exactly player for player but PKane and NRobertson being the main players going the other way.
Thoughts ?

- DET passes on this yard sale and Robertson’s one goal.
- I was joking when I said it’s been awhile since we had a Robertson trade rumor, but this is pretty much how I remember them?.

Chickenfoot
NRobertson is 23 years old compared to a 36 years old PKane and UFA after this season is why rebuilding teams like Detroit make trades like this, ask yourself is adding a younger player with an upside what rebuilding teams do?
Yes NRobertson has 1 goal but I just believe it's more playing in Toronto for him not his ability.
We can agree to disagree which is fine.

I think Detroit passes. if they do trade Kane i think they could get a better package from another team . wings already have Robertson's type player on the team in beggren and velano right now . probably will take a better prospect and a pick.

Detroit passes, looking for a much better return. Unless Toronto is including either Cowan or Minton, I don't see anything else worth pursuing.

Detroit is in desperate need of goal scoring.
Your answer to their problem is to offer an NHL player with 1 goal this season and 2 prospects that nobody has ever heard of in return for Patrick Kane.
Whats even worse is you're suggesting the Red Wings would retain 50% salary with no compensation.
A 1 goal scorer and 2 players that nobody has ever heard of in exchange for the greatest US born NHL player of all time thus far at a 50% discount.
This trade does nothing to help the Wings, but you obviously didn't care about that when you came up with this.
