Carey Price might not be playing. If he doesn't they cap compliant. Also 31 pts in 61 games is not worth 18pts in 56. Id be asking for a pick and maybe a prospect as well. Especially with retention.

Ottawa needs to create cap space to sign pinto, and they already have a crowded blue line as is. Chabot, chychrun, Sanderson, zub, brannstrom, hamonic. young guys JBD and kleven shouldn't be too far away from what I've seen, the zub extension from last season really stands out to me as something that could be a problem down the road. I would try to move either him or back-up forsberg to get their needed cap space, of course if batherson ends up suspended from the hockeycanada incident could possibly give them that relief as well.
