Sharks Trade
Meier
4th Round Pick 2023

Leafs Trade
Kerfoot
Sandin
Knies (Big-10)
1st Round Pick 2024

For Toronto this is throw everything in to get that Top 6 Winger to Complete The Top 6.

San Jose in a rebuild would look at this proposal as adding 2 Young Good Prospects in Sandin already an NHL Defenceman with Top 4 potential, Knies The Leafs Top Prospect, plus a 1st Rounder, Kerfoot fills this year maybe more on an expiring contract.

Minnesota traded Fiala for a less package and both Fiala and Meier are very comparable.

Toronto will have to figure out the Muzzin situation to fit Meier's contract to get under the cap to make it work.

Get real. Another Leaf trade involving the great and easily replaceable Kerfoot, unsigned duo Sandin and Knives. The only players missing is a shaky Holl, tiny Robertson and old, expensive, injury prone Muzzin. No team wants to trade a good player for any of these players. Make a realistic trade that would help the other team Pinballisback if not have the Leafs keep these great players.

The same Leaf players being mentioned as trading pieces for good players.

? The leafs were the 2nd highest scoring team, most leaf fans I know are frightened by their goaltending, and you’re proposing a trade for more goal scoring?

Your view of building a winning hockey team is uniquely your own.

So no Team wants Sandin and Knies because they are unsigned?
They both will sign whatever NHL Team owns there rights.
Oh by the way Meier is a RFA just like Sandin after this upcoming season.
Just admit you're a Leaf hater because the devaluing of Kerfoot, Sandin and Knies shows that, let me guess no Team wants a 1st Round Pick either?
Again Fiala and Meier are very comparable and what did Minnesota get from The Kings in that Trade?
My proposal offers much more than Minny got.

Pinball, you give yourself away as being disingenuous with your offer when you compare it to Fiala's deal.

You and we know, that the Fiala deal was a product of cap mismanagement by Minnesota and cannot be used as a fair value offer for any player that is not in the exact same situation.

Verbal, it's always funny that people take well known bad trades as being the market setter because it suits their agenda and completely ignore trades where players return more than they should.

The actual circumstances of each trade have a far greater impact on trade values than us fans like to admit. No two trades are alike.
