Nj isn't going to want to upset there Star Jack by trading away his brother.
Also, can't see Habs trading away #1, especially in their own building. Unless its in some sort of deal to land an already established star.
Maybe people don't see Wright as a potential Superstar, but I think he will be just fine. He won't be on the same level as McDavid of course, but he could be a mix of Tavares with Bergeron. That's not to bad IMO.

Brutal for NJ. I think 1st and 2nd r worth about the same. Shane Wright I think will actually be worse than Cooley.

I also don’t think the gap between Cooley is much. Habs take this and I don’t care what people say there management takes this deal and New Jersey laughs. Maybe Ty Smith and that pick for Wright. That’d only Because smith doesn’t fit in with the abundance of offensive dman New Jersey has. Ironically Smith would be a great fit in Montreal.
