OTT trades Forsberg

EDM trades 5th ('22) + 3rd ('23)


- EDM picks up a cheap goalie with sneaky good numbers this season

- OTT gets a couple more picks for an expiring contract

- Change the 3rd to a second if OTT agrees to take pending UFA's Turris or Koskinen back as well to help EDM free up some more deadline cash.

i'd sooner try to resign forsberg at that cost. i get helping out oilers free up deadline cash for getting koskinen or turris but only upgrading a round to do so when forsberg has been so good for ottawa? i don't see it at all.

Hockey Dad, that is awesome. Mark my words, Forsberg will move, and it will be a steal. Leafs would want him too but OTT wouldn't offer him up cheap to their provincial rival.
