Leafs are far from being a good team (unfortunately) . They shouldn't trade any picks away unless it's for a game changer. Not a depth player that won't help them win a playoff series.

As much as i Dislike the Leafs, hard to say they aren't a good team. They may be a quite Top heavy in great talent, and have a few to many border line NHlers, but this is a pretty good team. As much as I hate to say it.
They are however be a little behind the Florida teams and Carolina and Colorado, but I think come playoffs, anything can happen. They are due. I also believe that Campbell is capable of pulling a JS Gigere and getting stupid hot at the right time.
I do agree that these players are not quite what the Leafs need.

This team hasn't won a playoff series in what 18 years and at least 5 years with this core group. I been watching leafs since 84 I love the team. That being said a good team would have won a playoff series at least once.

If Muzzin got another concussion tonight there just isn't enough assets to trade or cap space available to continue to play whack-a-mole filling holes in this lineup. I'd keep the picks and get a different GM to make some difficult decisions.

Leafs should be going after a guy like Josh Anderson. Someone who can score while also providing speed, size and toughness.
The problem is they don't have anything to trade for players like that. They can't trade Tavares, they won't trade Marner, trading Nylander would be a sidegrade, and trading Matthews or Rielly would be just plain stupid.

Holy crap if the leafs are far from being a good team what is Arizona. But Sosa is right. Dehaan has negative value he’s a 6th dman making 4+ mil and Marzek also has negative value but there is always teams looking for goalies. Murphy now would be a great add. Flury makes absolutely zero sense Campbell is playing amazing no need to move him. If Flury is moved to another team maybe something around Marzek for Dehaan may make sense.
