Thinking Habs still need help on 3 rd line center.

McCann can play center.
Hoffman McCann Armia as 3rd line.
Not bad. Also makes less $ than Drouin.
If Drouin is a great player when on his game. But maybe playing in Montreal might be too much pressure for him.

I don't see why Seattle does it. They could have had Drouin for free, I think they'd stick with McCann.

I think Drouin is considered very risky. He is a really good talent, who just hasn't been able to figure out how to be consistent with that talent. Like MeMarcus said, Seattle could have had him, but chose not to. McCann is the much more safer player, and I believe the Krakken stay with him. He may produce more on this team, and he continues to improve into a reliable 2 way guy. Drouin is jus such a wild card .

McCann has had a couple solid seasons so it’s not an exact comparison but could he be Seattle’s Karlsson? He could end up being there first line center or there third. Either way I think they keep him.

Drouin needs to come back and perform before he can be traded for any type of a return imo.
