Like his brother Matthew, Brady is the kind of player you simply don't trade unless you get a big haul for him. A first, a second and two meh prospects isn't that.

Also Calgary can probably get a first and a couple meh prospects for Johnny as a rental at the trade deadline. Especially from one of the teams on his 5 team list. New Jersey almost certainly is one of those along with Philly, Boston, NYI and NYR.

That said, I do think Brady is worth more than Foligno, which is about the offer you proposed.

Ottawa blocks the number of the GM who calls with this BS.
