Yes it weakens Toronto's Defence but I feel The Leafs are looking at Sandin and Liljegren as regulars and you will still have Muzzin with Holl and Dermott with Brodie if Rielly is traded, and Huberdeau is better than any LWinger they have had since The Top 4 where regulars.
Florida is still pretty deep at LWing even without Huberdeau.

One thing they DON'T need to do is weaken that defence.

Both say no, Florida because they aren’t trading Huberdeau and Leafs because their defence is already close to being bad.
