Hearing there is a sign and trade side deal before Hyman becomes a UFA so Edmonton can get an extra year in his contract, so why not expand it more if both clubs are looking to change the core.

Edmonton will yes be losing the best player on the planet but adding 3 top players like that overall helps them.

Toronto wasn't signing Hyman anyways and trading Rielly opens up space to sign DHamilton, yes they lose those 3 players but if DHamilton is signed and McDavid is a Leaf I think they are better in the end.

I’d rather keep the 3 pieces from Toronto honestly.
