Here is a Trade Proposal that if happened would shock the entire NHL.

Buffalo Trades
Eichel (2.5m of Contract Retained)

Toronto Trades
Kerfoot
Sandin (AHL)
1st Round Pick 2021
1st Round Pick 2022
1st Round Pick 2023
1st Round Pick 2024

Dubas says he is all in to win, this would truly put The Leafs in a great position having a super first line of Matthews, Eichel and Marner.
The Leafs would still have around 1.8m in Cap to upgrade in Goal or Defense as well.

Doesn’t Eichels contract go for another 5+ yrs. It’s hard to imagine Buffalo retaining for that long. Also maybe replace a first with Robertson and Amirov and value is closer.

Sandin, Robertson, Amirov and 3 firsts is a very enticing offer even though there’s no A prospect (like Byfield)

Kessel was and still retained for 7 years at a 1.2m Cap hit when The Cap Limit was much lower, so yes it has and can happen, Kerfoot has to be part of this Trade Proposal for Cap reasons, Buffalo I believe wants 4 or 5 1st Round For Eichel, this proposal does that Sandin is a Top Prospect, and 4 first rounders is a lot to give, Buffalo is rebuilding isn't this going to help them long term? Adding Amirov and Robertson is way to much from Toronto's imo.

Yet again, you've thought up a trade that makes absolutely no sense to Toronto but they'd come out like geniuses here, and less than zero chance this makes sense for Buffalo.

It’s quantity over quality. 4 bad firsts is equivalent to 2 good ones (it costs a first to move from 20 to 10) and those firsts will all likely convey to 20-32. Buffalo will want a package that gives them more of a sure thing than some late first rounders and one decent prospect.
My team’s Ottawa and i'd say Batherson + JBD + 2 firsts is a better package than Sandin and 4 firsts, but i'd get hated for posting that offer.

The only way buffalo takes Eichel + 4 is if Toronto makes them like 2025-2028 unprotected.

Everyone on here it's not going to happen it's more a what if, Adams says he wants 4 or 5 first rounders for Eichel, this is what I proposed.
Hearing today Hoffman is on The Leafs radar, that makes sense for this season only.

Even without Forsberg. Mike Ricci, Ron Hextall, Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, future considerations —which eventually became Chris Simon — two first-round draft picks, and $15 million is still much better than that.
