I like the value but Winnipeg doesn’t have the cap space, and I honestly think Niku could end up being better than Manson. But Winnipeg is in win now mode so I see them going for it if there was something added to balance the cap. Good post.

Yup, that would be the max that Winnipeg should pay for Manson. In fact they should try to keep the 1st and offer up the 2nd.

According to local reporters with LTIR, taxi squad cap relief and prorated salaries, the Jets can afford anyone they want basically, so I'm not sure how that works.

The Jets have to address their lack of a defensive system before they make any trade. Manson is definitely not worth this return.
