Why on here does everyone think only the Leafs have to overpay for a player in this case a player worse.
Pearson is worse than Kerfoot and Pearson is also a UFA after this season where Kerfoot is signed for another 2yrs, plus The Leafs have to add Draft Picks.
Ok let's look at it this way, Vancouver Trades JT Miller signed for another 2yrs after this season just like Kerfoot to Columbus for Nick Foligno a UFA after this season and Vancouver adds 2 draft picks as well, does Vancouver make that trade?

Why would ANYONE trade for Kermit. Let alone hold back money to do it? He's in every second trade offering. he doesn't have trade value.

No from Toronto but Pearson being a UFA might be a reason they consider it. Also Miller is on a really nice contract where as Kerfoot might be slightly overpaid.

Chickenfoot, we have already explained why Kerfoot is in so many trade offers and it’s not rocket science.

Also the fact that you correlate his actual value to an NHL team to how many people on the internet make up trades involving him is concerning. I can assure you that rival NHL GMs aren’t taking calls from Dubas and saying “no way do we want Alex Kerfoot, A guy named PinballIsBack, HockeyIsLoaf and Sampson put him in too many mock trades on a forum. He must not be wanted or good” lol come on.
