With all the rumours about matthews to arizona, I thought I'd make a trade.

I didn't even know there were any rumors of that atm? Maybe once his contract gets a little closer to its end I could see.
If they were to make a deal with Arizona, I'd be wanting Chycryn as a peice coming back.

Ya, I don't have any of that social media stuff., however, i have heard the rumblings of him to Arizona in the past. i'd be all for it lol, as most on her know my dislike for the player. However, if Leafs want to end the drought, they should probably hold onto this guy .

I think matthews has been linked to Arizona since day one (ekman Larson was on the table for the first overall trade) because he’s exactly the type of hometown player that could help the franchise become relevant.

I think for matthews to Arizona, start with chychyrun, schmaltz, and then add from there. I think matthews is better than tavares for playoff games, but having schmaltz would help any team. He'd be a great 2c for Toronto with nylander or marner.

But those 2 aren't enough for matthews. Could maybe be schmaltz and OEL.

Why would The Leafs do this?
Matthews is an elite Centre in The NHL and even if they thought about trading him what is offered isn't close to enough, not even a 1st Round Pick in the proposed trade?
