Domi is a very poor center and not worth what real #2 center are able to get.

He have only 24yrs old and he can do 50 points so I think yes but habs don’t need have space for him so it the reason why he is on the market. He can be a 60 points player if he play with good players

Domi put up 72 points playing centre for a full season. Even if you count that as an outlier, he is good for 50 points a season. That’s a second line centre. Not saying this is a good trade for the Sharks or Habs. But a 50 point centre is a second line centre. Especially if your team (jets, minnesota) are completely devoid of centres with little hope in the prospect pipeline.

That would be a HUGE overpayment by MTL - no thanks.

Centres are worth more than wingers, and Meier's drop in production last year and -22 rating are alarming.
