Nashville has clearly stated that changes would need to be made. Offence is needed badly - that is where the Leafs come in

I know Josi shots left is 30 years old and makes 9m for next 7 years but getting bona-fide 1d costs
Salary is almost a wash something to consider

If the leafs can add Josi and Ekblad to Reilly and others it would be a 🏆 defence
Not sure who would play with Matthews or Taveres but we can worry about that after winning 2-1 games

The reason Ekblad is on the market is Florida doesn’t want to pay, if he gets traded it’s for picks and prospects. It’s not cap issues it’s money so they would want minimal money back.

Ekblad was on a 50 point pace, his best season yet. 3 years in a row of full seasons now. Think he might be a little undervalued league wide. He’s only 24 as well.

No way Eklblad is moved and the 1st trade is actually interesting obviously Josi is better but he is 7 years older and it’s not like Nashville is ready to compete.
