New Jersey needs a bit of a shake up to the Roster without hurting it and getting these 3 players should do that.
For Toronto it's more about first improving the Defense and more scoring balance upfront, they will still have to decide on either 2 Defencemen for depth or 1 Defenceman and 1 Forward to keep under the Cap, I am starting to believe Spezza will be released once Hyman is clear to play or if they make a trade like this with how Babcock isn't really playing him so probably a 22 Man Roster with 2 Depth Defencemen and Petan loaned back to the Marlies.

You can play with how each Team would fit each player on lines but see a better balance for both if this where to happen.

value wise i think you got it pretty close . well done

I am starting to like Ceci . i love his speed for a guy with his kind of size. if a deal like this one doesn't happen and leafs decide to go with ceci than i hope he signs an extension long term with smaller AAV maybe 8 years@3.25 per season.

Other than nj just signing gusev it's not bad value wise imo. Hyman can fit in top 6 if neccessary, ceci and kapanen replace severson and gusev although not as good but the 2nd evens out things. Dumb question but can you trade guys on ir in season?
