Leafs trade Nylander, Dermott
NYI trade Eberle, Pulock, Wahlstrom

I figure the difference between Nylander and Eberle is significantly bigger than the difference between Pulock and Dermott. That’s why NY adds Wahlstrom.

I'd say you're wrong. Eberle and Nylander are very close other than age, but Eberle has a far better contract, so that evens out a bit.

Pulock is much better than Dermott.

The Islanders would keep Wahlstrom and Toronto would need to add here.

You can say whatever you want joe. But Nylander has already surpassed Everle’s best years and is much younger. Pulock is not that much better than Dermott actually. In fact, Pulock isn’t better at all. Say what you want joe. It doesn’t matter. No one listens to you anymore anyway. You’ve just proven yourself too biased to take serious anymore.

Talk about biased. Pulock is a 1D, Dermot is a 4D as best. Eberle is .71 points per game in his career while Nylander is only .67 and severely overpaid. Yet somehow to you, Nylander produces more.

Fanatic? Eberle has had a 76 point season. Nylander hasn’t had a better season than that. So when you say Nylander has already surpassed Eberles best years is completely wrong 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

I’d say Nylander beats out Eberle by a small margin, but Pulock destroys Dermott, no way in heck NYI adds to this trade let alone Wahlstrom.

Whatever. I’m still not as biased as joe. He just says whatever he thinks is true and states it as fact. Fact is, Everle’s stats have been going down and Nylander’s stats are going up. Everle is past his prime and Nylander is about to enter his. Pulock is an overage this that squeezed in on a soft NY team. He almost didn’t even make it.

The Islanders say no. Value is not there. And If I’m NYI I wouldn’t want to add Nylanders contract at this time especially with Wahlstrom going the other way.

Yes eberle had a 76 point season like what 8 years ago. Then lockout year he did well followed up by a couple 65ish point seasons. Then a very quick decline in production. He is almost 30 now. Yes his contract is of better cap hit but will be 34 when its done. Since he is declining pretty rapidly the last 2 years of thst cap hit is going to suck.

Yes Pulock is seen by some as a 1D but just because some view him as that doesn't mean he is. so he is up their with Burns and Carlson or karlsson with his wolliping 30 something points and just below average advanced stats. If some of you view him as a 1D go nuts. Truth is he is 2RD. He would ge good beside reilly though but so is ceci.

Id say leafs pass as eberle isn't a 60 point threat any more and wahlstrom although a solid top level prospect is just that a prospect.

I prefer nylander and dermott over these 3 . that's me, your points are all valid as well. heck on a differant day i could swing the other way as well.

I’m not saying Pulock is a bad dman but there is no way he is a top 32 dman in the nhl ( number 1 dman ) Toronto has a weak Dcore and I’d take Rielly/ Barrie over him all day and maybe even Muzzin.

Think eberle and nylander are close for now but ebs getting into the wrong side of 30. But poluck and walhstrom is a huge overpayment for dermont to make up for it.

Pulock would be the fourth best defenseman on Leafs. He’s a good top 4 defenseman, but has no upside from what we’ve seen. Dermott has far more upside.
